NOTE: - The 1981 Colorado state championship game began play in Grand Junction but was suspended due to lightning with the score tied 3-3 after 13 innings of play. Because both participants were from the Eastern Slope, the teams traveled home and the game was completed at Kennedy Field in Westminster.
