Japanese Region Tournament
NOTE:
Japanese officials restructured their leagues and their tournament format in 2024. Many leagues were combined together throughout the country, and in some cases, what were once classified as leagues are now designated as teams. As one example, the Joto league in Tokyo is comprised of four teams (Adachi, Edogawa, Sumida, and Tokyo Kitasuna) that were previously classified as leagues. In many cases, leagues entered multiple teams in the international tournament.
The tournament format now uses a pool format rather than the previous single elimination schedule. The field was reduced from 16 to 12 teams, with each of Japan's districts sending only their champion to the region tournament. Hokkaido did not participate in the 2024 tournament, and the Tokyo runner-up qualified in their place.

Pool 'B' Bracket
Day 1 (Saturday, July 20):
Pool 'C' Bracket
Day 1 (Saturday, July 20):
Pool 'D' Bracket
Day 1 (Saturday, July 20):
The winner of each pool advances to the Japanese Region finals.
Ties are broken based on records in head-to-head competition among tied teams. If a clear winner cannot be determined from head-to-head results, the tie is broken by calculating the runs allowed ratio for all teams involved in the tie. Runs allowed ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of runs allowed in all games by six. (The runs allowed are divided by six irrespective of the actual number of defensive innings a team played.)
The team or with the lowest runs allowed ratio advances. If the tied teams are competing for multiple spots in the tournament's next phase, all ties are broken based on runs allowed ratio.
