All-Tohoku Tournament

Format: This is a two-stage tournament that produces two qualifiers for the Japanese Region tournament. In the first stage, leagues compete in Prefectural tournaments that determine the ten qualifiers for the All-Tohoku tournament. Three teams from the Fukushima prefecture tournament, three from the Miyagi prefecture tournament, and two from the Iwate prefecture tournament advance to the All-Tohoku tournament. In addition, Aomori and Yamagata prefectures, which each have only one chartered league, begin tournament play in the All-Tohoku tournament.

In the second stage, participants compete in a single-elimination tournament that determines the Tohoku champion and runner-up. Qualifiers were seeded into specific bracket positions for the All-Tohoku tournament based on their finish in prefectural tournament play. The bracket was arranged so that teams finishing higher in prefectual tournament competition could not meet until later rounds.

The two semifinal winners both qualify for the Japanese Region tournament, and then meet to determine first and second place.

In the Fukushima prefectural tournament, the following teams finished first through third in the standings: Fukushima, Sukagawa, and Kooriyama. All three teams advanced to the All-Tohoku tournament.

In the Iwate prefectural tournament, Mizusawa finished in first place, and Morioka Nishi finished as the runner-up. Both teams advanced to the All-Tohoku tournament.

In the Miyagi prefectural tournament, the following teams finished first through third in the standings: Sendai Chuo, Sendai, and Sendai Higashi. All three teams advanced to the All-Tohoku tournament.

Hachinohe Aomori and Yamagata are the only leagues in Aomori and Yamagata prefectures, respectively, and began tournament play in the All-Tohoku tournament.

All-Higashikanto Tournament

Format: This is a two-stage tournament. In the first stage, leagues compete in area tournaments that determine which teams qualify for the All-Higashikanto tournament. Eight teams from the Hitachi block, four from the Chiba City block, four from the Chiba block and two from the Tokiwa block advance to the All-Higashikanto tournament.

Mito Little League, the winner of April's Higashikanto Cup tournament, automatically qualifies for the All-Higashikanto tournament without participating in area tournament competition. Funibashi Little League, the runner-up in the Higashikanto Cup tournament, also qualified automatically for the All-Higashikanto finals, but elected to still compete in the area tournament. The two automatic qualifiers were placed in pre-determined slots on opposite sides of the All-Higashikanto tournament bracket. All other bracket positions were determined via a lottery.

The Chiba, Chiba City, and Tokiwa block tournaments used a round-robin format to determine which teams advance to the All-Higashikanto finals. The Hitachi block used a pod-based schedule in which four pod winners, three second-chance pod winners, and one third-chance pod winner advanced to the All-Higashikanto finals.

In the All-Higashikanto tournament's second stage, the twenty remaining teams play a single-elimination tournament that determines the Higashikanto champion.

Format: The All Tokyo tournament uses a modified double-elimination format that produces two qualifiers for the Japanese Region tournament. A double-elimination schedule narrows the initial field to four teams. The winner’s bracket champions advances to the Japanese Region tournament, while the three teams remaining in the elimination bracket play a round-robin schedule to determine which league advances as the Tokyo runner-up.

The twenty-nine team tournament bracket was drawn so that the top four finishers in April's Tokyo Cup tournament (Ota, Chofu, Tokyo Nakano, and Edogawa) are seeded into specific positions in the bracket. Bracket positions for all other teams were determined randomly.

Hiratsuka advances to the Japanese Region tournament.

All-Shinetsu Tournament

Format: This is a two-stage tournament. In the first stage, leagues compete in round-robin area tournaments that determine the sixteen qualifiers for the All-Shinetsu tournament. Five teams from the Kitahashi Block tournament, eight from the Matsumoto Block tournament, and four from the Niigata Block tournament advance to the All-Shinetsu finals.

In the second stage, participants compete in a single-elimination tournament that determines the Shinetsu champion. Qualifiers were seeded into specific bracket positions for the All-Shinetsu tournament based on their finish in Block tournament play. The bracket was arranged so that teams finishing higher in Block tournament competition could not meet until later rounds.

In the Kitahashi Block, the following teams finished first through fifth in the standings: Nagano Minami, Nagani Higashi, Sakaki, Obuse, and Susaka. Mochizuki, Ueda, and Ueda Minami were eliminated.

In the Matsumoto Block, the following teams finished first through eighth in the standings: Hotaka, Matsumoto Minami, Matsumoto Kita, Shiojiri, Matsumoto Higashi, Horigane, Iida, and Omachi. Azusakawa, Hakuba, Hata, Misato, and Toyoshina were eliminated.

The fifty-one team tournament bracket was drawn so that the top three finishers from the Kansai Spring Cup tournament (Kobe Kita, Izumi Kita, and Osaka Yodogawa) are seeded into specific positions in the bracket and begin play in the second round. Bracket positions for all other teams were determined randomly.
