NOTE: For 1959, leagues in Northern Idaho and Western Montana competed through the Washington state tournament structure as part of District 6.
From 1954 through 1965, leagues in Districts 7 and 8 in the Seattle area did not compete in the international tournament. Seattle officials decided to emphasize local competition, and instead organized a separate Greater Seattle Little League championships tournament. Typically, each of Seattle's two districts determined a winner, and these two teams then played a best-of-three series that determined a Greater Seattle champion. For 1959, South Highline was the District 7 champion, and North Central (Seattle) was the District 8 champion.
