Championship Game Host - Centralia (District 3)
At Fort Borst Park

NOTE: The third and fourth games of this sectional tournament were held at the state tournament site just prior to the start of that tournament to minimize travel for the four sectional participants, which are located in various parts of the state.

The consolation game was played between the District 7 and 8 runner-up teams. From 1954 through 1971, District 7 (South Seattle area) and District 8 (North Seattle area) leagues' tournament play was for the Greater Seattle Area championship. Through 1965, this competition was outside of the international tournament. From 1966 through 1971, the two district winners met in the opening round of sectional competition, and the two district runner-up teams met in a consolation game. This practice ended in 1972, when Washington officials eliminated sectional tournament competition and began advancing all district champions to the state tournament.

Tournament Results:
1 - North King County 8, Rainier-Beacon North 1 (consolation game)
2 - Queen Anne 4, Seattle International 2
3 - Omak 10, Burien 1
4 - Queen Anne 3, Omak 0 (TITLE)
