Leagues in Districts 7 and 8 competed in the international tournament in its earliest years, but in 1955, Seattle area officials instead elected to hold a local tournament outside the structure of the international tournament. The South Seattle (leagues in what was then District 7) and North Seattle (District 8) winners met in the championship of a tournament that determined the Greater Seattle Little League champion. District champions noted below for these years won South Seattle titles in that local tournament rather than a traditional district tournament.
Teams listed in bold also won a Washington state tournament.
