Summary:

Pitcher Shad Fader allowed just one run over 5-2/3 innings to lead his Windsor South Canadian Little League all-star team to a 5-1 victory over Fort William American/National in the 2010 Ontario championship game.

Russell Green slammed a two-run home run and Jake Dent had two hits for Windsor South Canadian, which defeated Fort William for the second time at the provincial tournament. Windsor South Canadian claimed its first Ontario championship since the league's 1972 team won the Canadian championship and advanced to the Little League World Series.

Windsor swept past four opponents in the provincial tournament at Current River American Little League's field in Thunder Bay. The District 5 champions opened with an 11-3 victory over Timmins LaRonde Little League. Ari Sechopoulos paced the Windsor offense with three hits including a home run, while Dent and Green had two hits each and combined for five runs batted in during the win.

Windsor South Canadian followed this win with a 7-4 decision over Fort William American/National. Pitcher Adam Nantais struck out five and did not allow a run over three innings pitched, while Green and Trizstan Horvath each delivered a pair of hits in the win. Windsor then edged Orleans Little League, 7-5, in the winner's bracket final. Nantais struck out three and earned the win, while Dent was 3-for-4 and Fader drove in four runs. The win advanced Windsor to the Ontario championship game for the first time since 2006.

Fort William American/National earned the berth opposite Windsor South Canadian by winning three consecutive games following their early round loss. Fort William edge Kingston Little League by a 6-5 score and topped District 2 champion East Nepean Little League, 6-3, before edging Orleans to reach their first provincial championship game since 1983.

Windsor South Canadian finished 3-2 in round-robin competition at the Canadian Region tournament before falling, 7-2, to eventual Canadian champion Little Mountain Little League from Vancouver, British Columbia. Ontario District 1 champion Ancaster Little League, which did not compete in the provincial tournament after winning the District 1 title due to the league's role as host for the 2010 Canadian championships, advanced to the region championship game before falling to Little Mountain by a 13-1 score.
